Soft show for gold


GOLD companies closed mostly lower today after the price of the yellow metal dipped 1.3% to $US1229.10 per ounce. Northern Star Resources bottomed our watchlist with a 7.8% fall to $A1.24 despite the positive sentiment attached to its robust quarterly this week.
